I am a credit risk analyst, which means I look at corporate credit requests and do fraudulent checks on orders and companies. I also handle administrations within my team.
I have developed my IT skills and analytical skills, as well as gained new skills to understand finance and financial terms.
I really enjoy my programme because it has enabled me to learn and hone a variety of skills that can be used in the corporate world.
Very well structured and organised - fortnightly group sessions, monthly 1-2-1s and quarterly review meetings. The content also flows well as you progress through the modules.
My employer is always happy to support me whenever I require assistance, whether that be my direct line manager or the person in charge of apprenticeships.
My training provider is always happy to answer any emails if I have a query and even organise a remote meeting if needs be. I have had support with moving the timings of the group sessions due to my commitments outside of work.
It has enabled me to become more professional and understand the corporate world a lot more.
Yes - we have apprenticeship team building activities, where we even got involved to raise money for local charities.

It is a very supportive company that highlights the importance of their employee's wellbeing and always encourages you to develop yourself.
Be yourself, as Softcat likes to see who you are individually. As important as it is to work as a team, having motivation and drive is also a bonus.
