As a deputy manager it is my role to support the senior management team and overlook the care team. Following policies and procedures from the company and in line with my managers
Within my role I gained more knowledge around safeguarding and online medication
I really enjoy the programme it allows me to refresh my knowledge and put new information and ideas into practice
My programme is very well structured allowing me to complete around my shift pattern
My employer is very supportive and will attend regular review meetings when necessary with my tutor
My tutor is very supportive making known to myself that she is available for support whenever
Completing this apprenticeship has allowed me to gain knowledge and become more confident within my job role
There are chances to get involved with other activities within the home and team
Yes
Very supportive company allowing you to progress whilst they are supporting you to develop and expand knowledge within job role. I started at elmfield care as a senior care assistant within a year becoming deputy manager, elmfield have given me the chance of progression within health and social care
