My role consists of usual admin throughout the day keeping up with projects I'm involved in. In addition to this I have a varied amount of calls surrounding different projects I'm on, these calls can consist of anywhere from information gathering to documenting information
In terms of new skills I have found that I have developed the skill of gathering information while in my role as well as a good problem solving mindset which is crucial for my role. I have also developed on skills I already acquired during my A-levels such as business techniques.
I very much enjoy my program there is a good balance of focusing on my apprentcieship and also getting involved in the practical side of it
My program is well structured through the balance of coursework and learning sessions I'm involved in
There is plenty of support and people I can go to if I am in need of support in the business
I receive lots of support from my tutor as well as regular check ins with him to ensure everything is okay
I feel as though my training provider helps a lot with improving the practical side of my role as do I receive monthly modules to complete but I attend weekly sessions to improve my knowledge on top of that
There is lots of extra-curricular activities at my work through not only my department with regular out of work meet ups, but there is also volunteering events regularly to get involved in
Yes
The culture in the business is very friendly and supportive as well as the flexibility of the job
I would say focus on being yourself and the person you are as the culture is very important to the business
