  • My role involves creating a warm and welcoming environment for customers, being customer focused and being able to serve and pour food and drinks. I have to ensure good time management for my role. I need to ensure health and safety as well as good stock management of items. I additionally ensure cleanliness and safety for all visiting.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Within my apprenticeship I have learned a variety of skills that help me with my personal and work development. I have gained skills including time management, team work, as well as a range of knowledge in different aspects of the businesses including stock, customers wants and need. I have also learned the importance of having a unique selling point and what sets us apart from other businesses.

  • 9b. Why?
  • It supports you and your colleagues. Before I came back to Greene king I was being treated badly as I was going through a bad period with my health. Greene king and management has enabled me to keep going with all the support that I need.

  • Be yourself and you’ll fit straight in.
