My role is a data science apprentice at Toyota GB. This involves using the data that we collect about our customers to optimise customer experience
I have learnt many skills such as Python, Power BI, Power Automate, Databricks, SPSS
I really enjoy the programme and feel that it has been very beneficial for my development. There has been many opportunities for me to grow and develop
The programme is well structured. The university has learnt from this programme and has adjusted the scope of work accordingly to benefit the new cohort of students
I receive above and beyond support from my employer. They really prioritise the Apprenticeship to ensure that I have scope to complete the university work as a priority to my development. There have been multiple opportunities to develop myself through work at Toyota too
I have received the support that I needed from the University on the programme to help me work towards my qualification. They have been really supportive with providing feedback and helping me with my qualificaiton
I feel that my qualification has massively helped me to perform better in my role. I think that the learning that I have done helps me to tackle problems in the workplace too
Yes. There are a multitude of activities that get involved in. They can range from sport teams (football, cricket, volleyball, rounders, golf etc) as well as regular social activities such as Ladies Day, Skiiing etc. There are also multiple networking events that I can get involved in too

Toyota is a great place to work as a whole. The work-life balance is great and there are so many chances to develop new skills to improve both my skills as a data scientist as a professional overall.
Always be open to change. There are so many things that you can learn so be sure to be open-minded. Don't shy away form new challenges as those are the ones that you will enjoy the most; from learning new things to meeting new people
