As a talent Acquisition Specialist my role involves managing candidates from point of application to point of hire. My day to day involves mainly interviewing, but also managing my talent pipeline and all the admin involved in processing a candidate. My apprenticeship is focused on data management, which is a crucial part of my everyday role managing candidates.
I have learned how to utilize Excel more effectively. I have already learned how to format spreadsheets, write formulas and use shortcuts to manage the data more efficiently. I have also learned more commercial awareness around the importance of data to the business and this has helped me in my everyday role.
I love my program, the learning has been instant. From the get go I have worked with knowledgeable experts who have guided me through each stage. I already know what is important to pass the portfolio section at the end with flying colours and that has given me focus from day 1. I also see how this knowledge is applicable to my role from day 1.
Very well organized, using the tools provided I have a clear overview of what is expected and I can confidently work towards the completion of each required module.
A lot, my manager has sat in meetings from day 1 to go over expectations for the apprenticeship and to give insight into where the knowledge will be applicable.
A lot I have a dedicated mentor who has guided me and set expectations from day 1.
I feel very confident as the knowledge I have gained already I am frequently applying to my role everyday. Such as formatting spreadsheets.
A lot of professional networking events. Such as LGBT+ networks and networks for female leaders.
Yes
Enterprise is focused on employee development from day 1. I can confidently say that I am a completely different person now from who I was when I started at Enterprise. I am more confident, driven and ambitious than ever before.
Be yourself, be driven and be open minded. There is no shortage of opportunities at Enterprise, you just need to have the confidence to go for them!
