Supporting the sales team to add value and enhance reputation by delivering against the commitments within the contracts that Softcat have been awarded. Primarily, my role focuses on the data, reporting and compliance function of our Public Sector business.
I have learnt a lot of new schools relating to Microsoft Excel, Power Query, PowerBI, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. This has helped me hugely in my day to day role.
I enjoy the online learning modules, interactions with my PDE and portfolio work. Sometimes the workshops can be a little as people do not interact as much as is required.
Well organised, especially within the learning portal, with modules assigned to each week to give you a clear overview of what needs to be completed when.
The L&D team at Softcat have been very supportive, organising quarterly catch ups to provide feedback on the course and promptly following up on any actions.
A lot of support is provided by the PDE from Corndel in regular 1 to 1 meetings. They are also available to contact via email whenever additional support is needed.
I feel the qualification has helped me to perform a lot better in my role, by shaping my mindset to approach tasks more efficiently, and has also significantly improved the quality of my work from a data analysis perspective.
Yes, Softcat has a very extensive range of extra-curricular activities and regular social events on offer alongside hobby groups and networking events. These are fully funded by the company.
