  • As a project management apprentice, I am asked to deal in matters of project control and governance on a daily basis. I have responsibilities such as monitoring and projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within resources

  • Certainly enjoy it - gives me responsibility so early in my career and allows me to learn through mistakes & advice from peers

  • The programme is structured in a clear way that sets out the content along with the timings; this helps to plan out your time and aids in pre-reading.

  • A lot of support provided - both from managers and peers alike

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider and skills coach are always on hand to support with any questions I may have, be they either work or theory based.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The competencies and theories that I have learnt over my qualification have helped me to become a more well-rounded project manager. I have used what I have learnt in the workplace in a practical way to support my team to meet strategic objectives

  • Various extra-curricular activities are available, from regular Tuesday night football to social activities such as board game nights
