As a project management apprentice, I am asked to deal in matters of project control and governance on a daily basis. I have responsibilities such as monitoring and projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within resources
organisational skills; interpersonal skills; presentation skills; management skills
Certainly enjoy it - gives me responsibility so early in my career and allows me to learn through mistakes & advice from peers
The programme is structured in a clear way that sets out the content along with the timings; this helps to plan out your time and aids in pre-reading.
A lot of support provided - both from managers and peers alike
My training provider and skills coach are always on hand to support with any questions I may have, be they either work or theory based.
The competencies and theories that I have learnt over my qualification have helped me to become a more well-rounded project manager. I have used what I have learnt in the workplace in a practical way to support my team to meet strategic objectives
Various extra-curricular activities are available, from regular Tuesday night football to social activities such as board game nights
Yes
Toyota GB has a friendly, inclusive environment which supports your learning and development not only as a professional but as an individual too.
To be assured that Toyota GB is an organisation that values all perspectives. It is incredibly encouraging of teamwork and collaboration and so being able to demonstrate this is a piece of advice I would impart.
