  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I've had two job roles during my time here to ensure I get a lot of experience. My first job role included doing client work for a bank with a backlog of DSAR requests. This required me to undergo training on how to complete the data analyst side of a DSAR request including redaction and extraction, quality check peers DSARs and work in a team to identify inefficiencies. My second job role which I am currently in now requires me to work with a team on a day to day basis to provide and prepare for introduction programmes for new joiners of all different hierarchal levels. This includes organising speakers, slide decks, catering, room bookings, reports, feedback, content, onboarding and providing the in person and virtual training myself. Currently they are also undergoing a reboot of the programme so I participate meetings on a daily basis coming up with new content and activity ideas and using feedback from the previous programme to improve the new one.

  • I enjoy the programme a lot as it gains me lots of experience, offers lots of support and everyone is really lovely and supportive however balancing a degree alongside a full time job can be quite stressful and overwhelming at times so it can be difficult to stay organised and optimistic.
