Im a healthcare assistant. It is my job to ensure that the surgeon and the scrub nurse have everything they need. I look after patients who are having surgery. I ensure that everything is well stocked so that there are no delays.
Yes I have learnt many new skills working at the nuffield and I have also learned a lot of new skills from paragon.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme. I have so much support at work and from my tutor at paragon. If I have any questions, they are answered quickly and thoroughly. I never feel worried to ask questions. I feel very supported working here.
I would say it's very well structured. I always have a clear understanding of what I'm doing and what's expected of me. If I have any questions I feel safe and happy to ask them.
Yes I feel I recieve a lot of support from my employer. I feel he always understands my thoughts and opinions and helps me whenever i need.
I receive a HUGE amount of support from my training provider. I have regular meetings with my tutor and i always know what is needed of me. If I have any questions about what i'm meant to be doing, they usually answer within a day of me asking the questions.
I have learnt so much from the units I have completed with paragon. I feel it helps me in my day to day role, dealing with patients, knowing how to treat and respect my patients and how to get involved as much as I can within my role.
No there are no extra surricular activities to get involved in at work.
Yes
Nuffield health is great, we have strict policies and procedure which ensure everything runs smoothly. We are very strict on rule and regulations so I know that my friends and family would be in safe hands here.
