Day to day i work with a variety of operators who perform on the production line my role is to support them as a leader and ensure they have the required to complete the daily task.
I feel as if i've definitely improved my communciation skills and my ability to control my emotion as im dealing with different personalities its helped me learn other scenarios i may face. New skills is adaptability and thinking on the job in difficult situations.
I thoroughly enjoy my apprenticeship allows me to continue to learn and develop my skills in the classroom as well as in a work place environment giving me that experience.
I feel i know exactly what is involved and required within my apprenticeship at all times and i stay in regular contact with my tutor so its clear from my point of view.
I receive a great deal of support whenever i need it whether be moving to a different area for knowledge based on my course or if i need to swap my Uni days due to work load they are very supportive.
I try to stay in fairly regular contact with my trainer usually once every 4 weeks and thats enough for me i can email if i really need to so if and when i know i can receive it.
My qualification is structured towards what i do on a daily basis so any skill i learn i feel can be ultimately used to help me perform better whether thats a theory or a different way of management.
There tends to be multiple well-being events each year which i like to get involved in. Such as rounders or a walking event just to help with team building and better team relationships.
