  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Day to day i work with a variety of operators who perform on the production line my role is to support them as a leader and ensure they have the required to complete the daily task.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I feel as if i've definitely improved my communciation skills and my ability to control my emotion as im dealing with different personalities its helped me learn other scenarios i may face. New skills is adaptability and thinking on the job in difficult situations.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoy my apprenticeship allows me to continue to learn and develop my skills in the classroom as well as in a work place environment giving me that experience.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I feel i know exactly what is involved and required within my apprenticeship at all times and i stay in regular contact with my tutor so its clear from my point of view.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a great deal of support whenever i need it whether be moving to a different area for knowledge based on my course or if i need to swap my Uni days due to work load they are very supportive.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I try to stay in fairly regular contact with my trainer usually once every 4 weeks and thats enough for me i can email if i really need to so if and when i know i can receive it.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification is structured towards what i do on a daily basis so any skill i learn i feel can be ultimately used to help me perform better whether thats a theory or a different way of management.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There tends to be multiple well-being events each year which i like to get involved in. Such as rounders or a walking event just to help with team building and better team relationships.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Its a supportive and great place to either develop yourself or further your career. Everyone is extremely friendly so you never feel uncomfortable or not able communicate if your struggling.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Siemens Healthineers?
  • just apply and take the leap be aware of safety as this comes first and quality always
