Constructing different drawing for foundation and layouts for different buildings. This can be from setting up plant to layout piles for different types of secant walls to building 3D models. This is all on AutoCAD
Within the company it is amazing at SKANSKA. But with LSP it is very disappointing, At SKANSKA my CAD skill have developed very well and communication with the clients we deal with.
The job is brilliant. I would've given 10 but LSP really lets it down.
I am unsure about the set up with college but the job and manager and colleges are brilliant at SKANSKA and I get all the support I need at SKANSKA but not at LSP
It more independent. I am able to complete project independently and deal with clients, Whenever I am really stuck my line manager it great help if I need but still pushes me to do the best. My friends/colleagues support when learn something new to.
There is no check in from LSP or regular contact to make sure we are ok. Joel our tutor is great but the lessons can be passive and tedious as we learn the same thing every lesson. LSP is structured very poorly and some staff are unfriendly and scary,
Everything necessary and required for my role has been purely taught by SKANSKA and my line manager. Everything taught by LSP has not really helped me at all
Yes, site visits, fun outings, conferences and networking sessions. Plus more many more things.
