  • I enjoy the working aspect of my role the most as it is engaging, purposeful, and I am treated equally to any other employee. Alsoworking with others with heaps of knowledge helps passive learning.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • There are clear modules and sessions, however some of the mandatory sessions and tasks can overlap and the direction of what to focus on could be clearer. Overall, pretty well structured though.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Lloyd's offers a vast amount of support and treats you like any other employee, I feel as if my needs come first and at times where the apprenticeship workload is higher, my employer respects that and is able to make ammends,

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • 'Talent Coaches' seem distant and unapproachable. The tutor however is helpful and does his best to answer any questions/concerns.

  • Envoking critical analysis is beneficial to my work, and the content of the CBI assessment provides real questions for future bankers to consider.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are several groups that encourage hobbies and networking such as groups for photography, office specific events, online training courses, etc. Overall there is a variety of groups that anyone can enjoy. (Not sure about Sports Teams but I haven't investigated for this yet)

  • Yes

  • Attitude towards workers, large scale corporation with vast opportunities, and a large impact.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
  • Read about Consumer Duty, AI models in banking, the rise in Fintechs. Ultimately, be yourself and understand the role you are going into. Learn what motivates you and play to your strengths.
