On a day-to-day basis, I work on electronic assemblies, fault finding and supporting the build of control surfaces for aircraft.
I have learnt how to fault find electronic devices, Principles of electronics, communication skills, time management and technical skills.
Although challenging, I enjoy my programme and have learnt a lot of new skills.
The overall structure of the apprenticeship is good, allowing for experience across multiple areas of the business.
During the apprenticeship, I have received a lot of support from my employers and managers.
I receive update progress meetings with my employers each month to ensure I am up to date with work and receive support if needed.
My qualification has allowed me to develop my skills and have a greater understanding of the field I work in.
There are lots of social events within work, for example, work meals provided by the business, STEM events providing support to local communities, football and netball teams available and different networking events.
