Completing work papers that assist with the audit process, review different elements of the financial papers
Absolutely, I have learnt many skills from excel to working in a team and talking to clients in a professional setting.
There are many social events held in all the offices which allow you to get to know many people as well as people in other departments. This job has both elements of socialising with other people and being independent with your work.
There is a good balance between college and work, however, it is your responsibility to keep on track with all your college/training emails and ensure the right ones are booked and at the right time as miscommunication is a possible occurrence.
When you join you get assigned a buddy, who is a slightly senior member of the company that can guide you over the basics and they have been most recently in your shoes. Additionally, you are assigned a line manager that assists you with more corporate queries and ensuring you're on track with your apprenticeship.
You get provided with a textbook and a question bank for each course you sit. Additionally, you are provideed with lessons (some face-to-face and others through online school) where the basic concepts of each chapter are taught. There are many practise assessments you can use to practice with. The only downside could be that some of the practise questions don't cover all possible topics even just once.

There are many extra-curricular activities to get involved in at Mazars from socials to innovation to improve the day to day life for workers. There are many opportunities to work with many different people with different experiences.
Yes
People are really friendly and Mazars' main focus is to allow people to develop and learn with on hand experience to work hand in hand with their theoretical knowledge. It is a great opportunity to learn about companies like these work first hand while being provided the education behind it too.
Be prepared to put in a lot of time and effort both at work and outside of it to be on top of everything. This job is very rewarding and gives you a head start in the industry but it does require a lot of dedication to both the company but also to yourself and your own development.
