Preparing financial statement and processing XBRL tagging for limited companies.
Yes, I have been able to develop my technical skillset via professional qualifications being provided, analytical skills as a result of preparing and analysing financial information, and effective communication skills via the opportunity to carry out presentations as part of the BPP skills programmes.
I enjoy the learning aspect of the programme and being able to acquire a degree level of education whilst working and gaining relevant work experience.
My programme is 80% organised and structured, where my pathway has been communicated to me by our early careers team and BPP provide advice and support along the way. However, there has been occasions where there is a lack of coordination between our internal careers team and the apprenticeship providers.
I receive a good level of support as the early careers team is always available when there are issues that need to be resolved.
They provide a good level of advice and understanding throughout the course, in terms of the technical aspect or the flexibility in our student pathways there is lack of support in this area.
Definitely helps! The courses I have studies thus far have improved my technical knowledge which is needed in my current role.
There are social activities that are arranged on an annual basis such as the annual christmas party alongside any other seasonal events, there is a football team at Mazars, and occasionally professional networking events.
