  • Day to day i am involved in the audit of numerous insurance companies - this involves checking the figures that they are stating in their annual accounts are true and fair. Therefore it involves a lot of testing of supporting evidence to confirm the balances are correct.

  • I have learnt lots of skills including analytical skills, professional scepticism, time manatement, people management

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The main joy of the work is the people you work with. The work can become repetitive and sometimes less enjoyable however I work with many like minded individuals my age who are going through exams with me and this makes it truly fun.

  • The programme is very well organised and structured with everything set out for us so we only book our exams, the rest is done for us

  • We receive a generous amount of support from our employer, however occasionally queries can be dealt with slowly which can be frustrating.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • BPP have been excellent in providing an adequate amount of support to us - the tutors all go above and beyond to help us. Sometimes the marking team can let us down in terms of providing very little feedback on our mocks which is vital for us getting better.

  • The qualification helps in every way to perform better in the role. without it i would not have progressed how I have.

  • There are numerous social events and sports teams - it really is a choice to pick your favourite since there are so many
