  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I find the programme really enjoyable I have improved my knowledge of financial acumen and general business greatly given I previously had very limited understanding or awareness from my educational background. I embrace the challenges of the work and feel a sense of achievement in my role as I know I am genuinely contributing and adding value in the work I perform. I have worked with great people and made friends for life in the programme and I honestly look forward to coming to work every day.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is well structured in terms of arranging webinars and college bookings through the training provider to inform us about upcoming deadlines and exams. Sometimes the communication could be better and more timely and there can be some confusion when my peers are told different things by different people. Overall I have felt the programme is relatively well organised.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer is very supportive of my training and study. I am granted some study leave and managers are aware and appreciative of upcoming exams meaning they will not put too much pressure or expect work out of hours. I have found my line manager to be very supportive of my development and keen to help me in any way to relieve any stress related to my learning programme. Sometimes there is a lot of pressure and expectations when it comes to deadlines at work which can be overwhelming with exams and other deadlines relating to the learning programme.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The training provider provides useful study materials and online resources. There are structured mocks and assessments to aid learning and tutors are generally very knowledgeable regarding the exams. Marking of mock exams sometimes appears to be inconsistent and can take a long time which is frustrating when it is very close to exams. Generally I feel pretty well supported by the training provider.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification has provided a vast amount of knowledge which I utilise on a daily basis in my role. I would not be able to complete my day to day work without the foundation of business and finance knowledge I have developed through the qualification and training I have received.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We have many social networks which anyone can get involved in and they are very inclusive. There are a number of sports teams and opportunities to take part in activities such as football netball climbing and basketball. There are also frequent socials organised by the firm sometimes based around an activity where we can socialise and relax after work.
