I am on a 4 year programme which includes a range of placements around the business and I am currently in my second placement in the terminal as a CER.
I have developed the following skills: Use of IT packages (such as Microsoft Excel) Communication skills Project management Developing collaborative relationships Awareness of self and others Management of self Organisation
I really enjoy my programme. I had an amazing first placement in the apprenticeship team to the point where I didn’t want to leave. Now I am in the terminal I am enjoying how every day is a new day with new opportunities and scenarios.
I believe it is well structured however as we are still quite a new programme, there are parts of the programme that are still being looked at in regards to achieving our people management skills.
So much support! My line manager is amazing and is always going above and beyond to make sure I am ok and if I require any support.
There is support however when it comes to feedback on assignments, sometimes it’s not clear as to what I am doing wrong or what exactly needs developing.
It helps me look at situations in a different light and be able to apply the knowledge to every day work.
Yes there are in fact we have the flying start games coming up at the end of May.
