managing a shift of 9 persons made up of both full time and contingency workers(agency). creating operational plans and driving performance of the process. delivering KPIs, leading team and own development. creating agile plans to deliver on EHS, Quality and Production targets
the course was Departmental manager and I learnt about creating how to create operational planning using the different models. Agile planning strategies and prioritisation tools. learnt about both qualitative and quantitative KPIs. learnt how to put theory into practice with senarios and tutor lead sessions
really enjoyed the knowledge build. my experience far exceeded expectation of the course. the knowledge gained from the first course builds and leads to the next. very well structured.
the design and structure of units builds very well. each task builds and as you deepen your knowledge, you find that you start to use it throughout the course and naturally, start to use and practice it in the business world.
very little support was given throughout the length of the course. for the bulk of the course i had to take holidays to be able to have tutor 121s and assignment write up. any time used for course work when at work, felt like i was taking time away from my employer.
I started with 'Qube learning' and they were very poor. the tutors did not seem to care about my progress. I then moved to 'Realise' and they have been fantastic. my tutor has been super positive and supportive. pushing me to expand and grow. a true role model of excellence
this qualification rubber stamps that i am good enough and i finally have the qualification to say that. i have gained so much insight and knowledge leading to this qualification that i wish i had done this sooner and now want to progress towards a level 7
there are intermittent social events at work which i attend. I am a freemason outside of work and the social and formal element is there which i enjoy. i am out 3 times a month as a result. they have encouraged all through this training.
No
structure is to flat with little vertical progress as training provided is very formulaic. (specific to the role and not to the individual). very little support in growth provided
do everything right. be the best you can be, for yourself and to the benefit to the business. it is a great business which does a lot of good for a vast amount of people. be proud of that. be creative in thinking (working to an SOP or WOW erodes that)
