Preparing Month end management accounts other statutory items in a outsourcing capacity for financial services clients.
I have developed my formal communication skills between both internal colleagues and clients. i have also learned many technical accounting principles and IT skills in different accounting software.
I do enjoy my programme, however the extra workload with the tasks relating to demonstrating skills and behaviours i find difficult as they are extra, and i feel unnecessary when i am both working and studying towards ACCA qualification.
I feel it is well organised. My study programme is structured to 1 exam every 3 months, which is continuous, however it allows me to focus on 1 exam at a time. It does however mean i find it difficult to complete extra apprenticeship tasks.
I receive good support from my employer, being given time off to study and take my exam. I have learnt alot from more senior members of my team on technical aspects of accounting.
I receive good support, as i have direct access during multiple days when going through study days and revision days. They also will answer questions and queries online after a couple of days, so i can get extra explanation if necessary.
I feel the technical aspects of accounting will enable me to provide better advice and quality of work to the clients i work with. I feel it gives me a better overall position of personal improvement.
There are other committees that are involves in a variety of areas, whether social, environmental or more work orientated.
Yes
They do support work and study while studying. There is space for growth and to specialise more on areas you want to if that is something you want to do.
Standing out is difficult, but i feel if you can showcase you are willing to work and learn, always wanting to better yourself, Mazars can be a great place to grow.
