Managing maintenance and defect inquiries from National customers, scheduling and booking compliance required maintenance events, chasing and resolving customer requests and defects, administrative software tasks, phone and heavy emails.
Yes, have been through the Team Lead Level 2 Apprenticeship program, multiple opportunities for upskilling in MS Office software.
Far too disorganized. Requirements for assignments not clearly linked to content being provided in monthly classes. TRaining had to be fit into my work schedules so more of an organized workflow of what was due and when would have been helpful.
Aptem platform had too many bells and whistles, very difficult to find what you were looking for. Too much content on there that was not for our course. Module objectives were unclear at time and content did not always link.
Good support, I was allowed to dedicate one full day a week just to Apprenticeship work. Altho that made the other 4 days hectic as the work never lets up.
My original Skills Coach was not particularly effective. She left the company and my new coach did a lot of work in the background to catch my portfolio up.
The content helped solidify previous training and experience on some subjects. I also learned helpful skills, particularly in time management that have helped me perform better in my role.
Not really. As a homeworker I pretty much do my work and then log off. There have been Team events held in different parts of the country that the company would pay for me to go to, but with my personality I wasn't interested.
Yes
The company has a strong set of core values that are lived and used daily throughout management. The employee benefits are fairly beneficial. Senior Management has shared profits with employees via pension deposits and pay increases, as well as anniversary gifts, employee appreciation day, holiday bonus.
The company has a flexible attitude towards making work a positive place for their employees. If you are looking for flexible hours, home working, job share, or anything out of the norm, don't hesitate to ask for it. They do a great job of making it work.
