I am an order book planner for a certain programme. I ensure demand and supply in the ERP system is accurate along with supporting the supply chain and shop floor.
The KSB's within the apprentice side of the degree has certainly helped for me to explain how i have achieved and developed new knowledge, skill or behaviour.
I am thoroughly enjoying the programme i have gone onto at Aston University.
The structure planned out for the degree goes hand in hand with ensuring some of the KSB's are ticked off in the assignment.
I feel like i am very supported by BAE whilst completing the degree alongside my full time job.
The support at the uni is second to none, any queries that there is they are answered within a reasonable time frame. i also feel safe when at Uni and enjoy going every few months to learn and understand the next topic.
I think the degree will certainly expose me to different aspects that i actually don't do in my role but it will give me a different perspective of what to consider that i may not have done before.
There are some professional networking events.
Yes
A brilliant place to work with extremely good benefits along with good professional career development with support where it is needed.
Don't give up! If it's something that you want (role/career wise) then pursuit it!
