As an engineering technician, I provide technical support and guidance within the aeronautical engineering environment. This consists of data analysis, compiling reports and supporting live aircraft on the flight line.
Yes, constantly. On a daily basis I am learning new skills and developing my professional competence.
Mostly. however the in-house further education element could be better managed. The NVQ/placement side however is fantastic and there are some really exciting and unique opportunities available.
Could definitely be better. Frequent mid-term line manager changes with no clear understanding of who is actually in charge and no point of contact.

Yes, a good amount of activities however I am often unable to attend due to money struggles. The lower pay makes it difficult for people with mortgages etc.
