  • I work in a chemical lab called process chemistry. We make improvements to the process, troubleshoot possible issues and occasionally product testing. In my day to day I carry out projects related to all of these things.

  • Developed many existing skills such a organization, prioritizing, team work. I have also learnt new skills such as training another apprentice and presenting

  • I really enjoy the programm because I think its structured well and It is building my career skills as well as my qualifications

  • Very, adequate time to complete all work and revise for exams. Coursework units paired with exam based units to create a balance of the workload

  • Any support I ask for I have recieved

  • Support from all angles of the university, study skills, lecturer support, mental health and wellbeing support

  • I think the course regularly maps to the knowledge I use in my role. This supports my role becuase it allows me to think of my own ideas and methods through this knowledge.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I am in the steering committee for the women's group at my work, I regularly get involved with educational outreach events, we have a science lab on site that primary schools visit for STEM career education which I also take part in.

  • Yes

  • Show your personality through the application process, make them want to have you as a part of their team. The assessment centers are where you can make the biggest impression
