My role is to help and provide assistance to my team and mentor in any projects we are involved in relating to Electromagnetics Environmental Effects. This can include antennas, TEMPEST and similar areas.
Yes I have learnt and developed skills within the EEE area that are both transferable skills to different roles and jobs, and learnt the theory and practical physics related to EEE, and more.
I enjoy my programme has I have been able to learn in both practical and theoretical sense of both doing the university degree and work experience. I have been able learn and develop multiple skills quickly within the apprenticeship with easily approvable and cohesive teams.
On the whole I believe programme is well structured for the sector I am within BAE Systems as I am able to easily get placements within the sector, however it has been hard to communicate with other sector about stretch opportunities and find it to be very segregated between sectors.
I receive lots of support in most aspects of the apprenticeship, especially by the teams I have worked with.
I receive lots of support to receive qualifications and even can be expensed for these qualifications.
It is allows me to gain the knowledge an experience to better perform on tasks related to these qualifications.
Yes multiple. But, as said before can be hard to hear about these activities from being the sector I'm in.
Yes
Because, BAE Systems is very caring and looks after you as an apprentice, and allows you great opportunities for the future.
Make sure to do extra curricular activities for the CV and prepare and present yourself for the interviews if you get through.
