Working as a delivery apprentice includes managing and co-ordinating different craft resource and aligning key stakeholders across the globe.
I have developed so many new skills it is hard to pin point key areas! I have learnt a range of different project management and delivery skills.
I love my role within Sage and the apprenticeship programme. I get to interact with a range of new people daily to try and help/ improve customer journeys and experiences on Sage.com.
I have regular check ins with my manager, my mentor and all together. These check ins with my apprenticeship mentor are every 4--5 weeks and help maintain clarity
I feel incredibly supported by my manager and team. I know Sage as an employer empowers colleagues to support one another, this shows through. Very lucky to be part of such a great team.
I have regular check ins with my mentor on progress regarding assignments and off the job learning. My training provider gives great and engaging webinar sessions which help me understand the knowledge sections of the apprenticeship units.
The knowledge I gain from the apprenticeship I feel I can directly implement within my role in web delivery. The role of a web delivery manager and project manager are very closely aligned.
