  • Supporting dealerships in the finance applications they create for customers, carrying out money laundering checks

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy having flexibility in the ways I can work e.g. being able to work from home. Studying and also getting real life experience at the same time in a company that I love is invaluable

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well organised, my mentor schedules regular meetings with my manager to discuss my progress/how I can be supported. I have regular workshops that last the whole day 1-2-1 with my mentor meaning they can flexible and changed when needed.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Lots of support and encouragement. They are always happy to give me as much time as I need within the work week to complete my coursework. We also have regular meeting to discuss my progress. They always encourage me to get involved in as much as possible to expand my knowledge

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Endless support. The whole programme is centred around me and what I want to get out of it. They are always happy to give me extra help and time when needed and are always contactable if I need anything. They give really constructive feedback on every piece of work that I do and allow me to chose the styles of work to complete (e.g. producing a powerpoint, essay, spoken task) in order to reach the criteria I need in order to gain my qualification.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It helps me to perform better in my role by learning an endless amount of different skills that would be useful in any workplace e.g. people skills such as conflict resolution, or learning about regulations in my field. My qualification is in motor finance and is more centred around each dealership, meaning I get to know the importance of my role and where I fit within the business.

  • Regular networking events, but there is also lots of other activities to get involved with

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group?
  • Always take advantage of every opportunity given to you as an apprentice and experience as much diversity as you possibly can in order to help you decide on your future career goals
