  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • On a normal day, jobs can vary. Most of the time I am maintaining the tooling dies ensuring they are in a good enough condition for production. This varies from cleaning to having to grind down trim edges to ensure they are able to cut a panel correctly and sufficiently.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • so much, whenever I've had an issues I've always been able to go to my employer and talk about my issues. if I ever need something that I need for work I can also easily approach her. throughout the whole apprenticeship the support has been there even if its not what we want to hear.

I feel Swinton college haven't given as much as other years as their training provider is always in contact with them and also coming into work frequently to help them whereas Swinton college our trainer comes in every couple months
