  • A engineering role in which the key priority is to manage and maintain the tooling equipment to produce the panels required for vehicle production. The day to day operations consists of both preventative and reactive maintenance.

  • I have learnt a valuable skill set that would set me apart and allow be to excel in most engineering environments. From practical skills such as welding, machining and wiring. To theoretical skills in quality mathematics and CAD

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have never entered a day of my program and not enjoyed my day. I genuinely look forward to my work days and the opportunities they provide. The environment and culture of the existing associates also make learning enjoyable.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programmed has maintained a good structure and I have always known where and when I shall be working. Placements throughout the work environments are documented and always accessible.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • It has been consistent and constant throughout the entire apprenticeship, we have weekly check in to ensure we are on track and just to check our own wellbeing. But we have a strong relationship with our advisors in we can approach them with any problem

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Support has been delivered throughout at varying levels of quality but through the majority of the program I haven't struggled to understand topics

  • It meets the needs for the role as all the skills developed over the course have been used throughput my working days and allows me to bring value to my role.

  • Throughout the course there are plenty additional activities to be involved with

  • Yes

  • It has been one of the most enjoyable work places I have had the pleasure to be involved in and the role has made me a better version of myself


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group?
  • Keep you head down, crack on with your work and make sure to be pleasant with your fellow apprentices as your all in the same position and support from others will always make it easier for you.
