I deal with customers in Commercial and Institutes section helping them managing Bankline and their banking online, I also deal with a project known as business cash card which is in pilot phase that we roll out to customers soon
I have learnt a lot more on Office 365 and enhanced my skills on those applications, additionally I have learned more on Banking overall after doing my certificate and helped me better understand the industry
I enjoy the constant learning it is always teaching you new things and adapting how we already work, it can be stressful but rewarding when you complete it
It is set out with our coach and regular meetings are scheduled in to keep up with progress of your work, and how your getting on along with if they can provide any support
I receive a good amount of support from my LM on the daily to complete my apprentice work, As well as this the early careers team we have are really support in supporting you and helping you manage it between apprenticeship
I receive a great amount of support from my BPP Coach, they are always helping us progress and develop our work to make it better, As well as this they send regular emails to give tips and help to make your work even better and work through your work with you to make sure it is perfected
It has helped me understand more about the bank I work in and the teams around me as well as the fundamentals and how we run it, additionally has helped me progress with my written skills due to exercises we do to enhance this skill further
there are many networking events in and around the bank that we are involved in, this can include interactions for networking in commercial between NatWest and other companies we are partnered with
Yes
I love NatWest as an employer and have developed myself a lot while being here, additionally they are very supportive and will always help you when they can, There are opportunities everywhere in the bank for anyone and on an array of jobs
Be open minded as there are a lot of opportunities in the bank scattered around the company and also ensure you have a willingness to learn, It is not the easiest environment to learn but if you can work through it, it is very rewardable and supporting in the long term
