My role is a pipe fitter/fabricator and it involves working to isometric drawings to produce pipes or fit pipes for certain system within the boat
I have learned loads of new skills on how to use hand tools, I have also learnt how to bend and form pipework assemblies, I have learnt how thread, and weld pipework also.
The college side of the programme has been awful, very poorly structured throughout, no tutors for at least 2 lessons and tutors not following the curriculum
I feel the support I've received has been very poor especially the support I've received for my mental health
The support is okay, could be better though, as you are expected to just pick up what you are doing straight away
Yes
Good room for development and progression
