I develop applications for SAP Analytics Cloud to make data output more efficient, produce user guides for the PM&C Function, process data for key metrics and assist the wider development team with higher level tasks for skill gain.
I've learned scripting/coding skills from no prior knowledge/experience and developed my skills in communication.
I really enjoy my programme. The work suits my temperament excellently and I'm able to take at least some genuine interest in everything I work on. I like seeing how my contributions support the wider team.
I would say that the organisation framework is robust and gives the apprentice space to take control over it. This suits my style of work, although it can be overwhelming at the beginning.
My employer is extremely supportive. There are a lot of resources for apprentices who are struggling. However this may vary by department, as some apprentices I know in other departments do not seem to receive the same level of support.
There is an ongoing back and forth with the training provider. They appear to be trying to take on feedback.
So far, I don't feel I've gained anything from my training provider which has helped in my role. However, we are only one module in, I expect that my experience will improve significantly.
There is a good variety of extra curricular activities available. I would say the social ones tend to be too themed around sports for my liking.

I think the wages are good, the job security is excellent and the work is interesting if you pick an apprenticeship that suits you.
Do your research before you apply, prepare as many things as you can draw on well for your interview, don't give up during induction week because it gets much better, and make note of who to direct each type of question to. Most people want to see the apprentices do well and will support you.
