Working with my team to update and maintain an internal application for the bank.
I started this apprenticeship with next to no knowledge on C# and I am now making changes to the application and working alongside the team using this language. I have also learnt a lot about the different lifecycles along with general practices.
I am really enjoying my programme. The team I work with is great, I feel I get a lot of support at all times.
The programme is well structured with a clear overview of goals and objectives. My manager is especially good at ensuring I get enough exposure to parts of the role that support my learning from the apprenticeship programme.
My manager, and the rest of the team, are extremely supportive.
My training provider is always on hand to answer any questions, via messages or calls.
My qualification is extremely beneficial to my role as it is allowing me to learn the necessary skills to progress.
There are extra-curricular activities, although I haven't had much time to get involved.
Yes
Natwest are so supportive with the apprenticeship programme. I am learning a lot of new skills and through it I am able to progress towards my goal of becoming a software engineer.
Don't be afraid to apply for an apprenticeship role that you have little or no knowledge in. NatWest are extremely supportive and encouraging!
