  • A wide variety of Mechanical engineering activities across different placements in the Mechanical engineering sector. Placements have been in teams such as design, materials lab, thermal analysis and manufacturing

  • Learnt lots of new skills in engineering, both practical and office based. Had opportunity to develop existing skills too.

  • It has been an excellent programme, met lots of new people, gain valuable experience.

  • Very well organised and structured, ensures a broad range of placements and modules at university.

  • I received as much support as I've needed, only ever had to ask for extra support if required and it has always been received.

  • Some support, University is mediocre, support usually comes through the workplace.

  • It helps some what, mostly experience gained on the job has helped.

  • Yes, lots of sports teams and clubs. Lots of work with schools.

  • Yes

  • Brilliant place to work, lots of benefits and opportunity for career progression. I have enjoyed the almost 4 years working there.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to MBDA?
  • Showcase yourself, MBDA often look at the character rather than technical knowledge. If you're a good fit in MBDA, they will want you to join the team.
