Working in the major loss team involves reviewing document, drafting bundles, chasing various parties for responses re liability, quantum and billing and generally assisting file handlers where required for admin
Developed my communication and detailed analysis skills as my previous job involved working on much lower claim value work
I enjoy the structure of my programme and appreciate DWF taking my apprenticeship on from my previous firm who went into administration. I have been supported with this and it has been a smooth transition. The other apprentices are with BPP but I still feel supported.
I understand the structure well enough but as I am on a different programme to others, it can be hard to discuss with others.
I have a lot of support in terms of setting targets for review meetings, study leave and general advice on exams and work balance.
My training provider, mainly my training coach, supports me well in checking in on me and answering any questions I have
I don't believe the two always match each other but the skills are transferrable in terms of written communication and detailed analysis
There are social teams events, office events in relation to charity and a few networking opportunites.
Yes
Coming from my previous role where support was lacking, I have been support both as a sub-team, wider team and from the early careers team.
