  • Maintenance of machinery, making sure the line is running well, try and reduce downtime by being out on the line to stop that.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt how to weld also developed my electrical understanding and learned how to use a lathe and milling machine

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have really enjoyed my experience and what I have done so far in my apprenticeship, I am happy what I am doing now and ready for the next years to end up finishing eventually.

  • Was not very organised at the start but as of recent it has had more of a structure.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • So far they have supported me well while at college and have been back on site around 3 months and it has been excellent.

  • So far it has been good and now being supplied with a laptop which will help alot.

  • I have learnt the basic role while at college which helped me with work because I already know what to do.

  • Yes

  • Its a good opportunity to get an apprenticeship with good qualifications and withy the company being good its a nice environment to work in day today and many opportunity's to adventure when finished.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Premier Foods?
  • Mention any experience in engineering.
