Putting out stock, facing up, till work, interacting with customers, cleaning the store at the end of the day, and early shifts to take in deliveries.
I've learnt a lot more about interacting with customers, building on my communication and customer service skills.
I enjoy the till work and most customer interaction, though I find the work very repetitive. My shifts also mean that I either go in very early or leave quite late, so I don't have a lot of time at home to do things like shower, or make dinner.
It's a good set up, having 2 hours of online training a week that comes out of my working day.
I get a lot of support, there's always someone to ask questions to
She's always available to send a message, and I can rely on her to respond even if it takes an hour or so. Really nice person too!
It allows me to get a better insight into why we do things in the shop, such as why we move stock around, or how we can tell if we have pests around food items.
None so far, if there will be any at all
Yes
It's a good place to work. You're looked after well as an employee, and the training prepares you well
Don't be afraid to ask for changes to suit your needs
