A lot as I have gained lots of new transferable skills and knowledge as well as meeting new people.
Every Friday we have a University day to study and do our assignments. Our first 2 years is one team and then we rotate yearly into different teams. The onboarding isn't as structured on our site as it has less apprenticeship events compared to other sites.
We are given enough time to do our studying towards our degrees and through rotations are given the opportunity to gain new knowledge.
A lot of support, we are given enough time to do Uni work and assignments. Also, the knowledge and experience we gain through our job roles helps us towards our degree.
The learning and knowledge we gain at Uni helps towards my job role and vis versa.
Yes, there are various sport and social activities onsite as well as off site that you can take part in. There aren't many professional networking events at the site I am based at but other sites do have these events.
Yes
It is very good company to work for as the opportunities you are given help you to develop and the people you get to work with are great. Also their are lots of other benefits you receive as an employee.
Research the company and ask any questions you may have. Be yourself!
