  • my role is a mechanical fitter which day to day i can be completing theory work or creating assessment pieces in the workshop, all made from using different types of equipment.

  • good support especially the reviews you are given by skills coaches every couple weeks.

  • Not as much as they could, sometimes there is a lack of them not wanting to display there knowledge and ideas.But support is mostly okay.

  • if think this helps me to perform better.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • yes events are help such as fairs which display the different roles in the company for anyone wanting to join them.There has been litter picking days offered but only for the 2nd year apprentices.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • they offer a great career that is guaranteed with a high demand of work, the support available is all there if any issues are faced, good qualifications can be earned, and lots of knowledge is involved.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • prepare yourself and do research on the company as well as writing down any good questions you may think of.
