In a split role across Visual Merchandising and Trade team. Something that is great about my role is no day is ever the same! Key responsibilities include supporting the Gift with purchase and Coffret rollout across top 13 retailers as well as looking after 420 brand counters.
L'Oréal is a great company for skill development. I have developed a blend of soft and hard skills during my apprenticeship including communication, time management, teamwork as well as fundamentals of marketing and learning and development functions.
I love my apprenticeship! I am able to work and earn a salary whilst studying a full-funded degree. The support from both L'Oréal and the University of Kent is great and I could not have asked for a better experience.
The structure includes 4 days in the workplace and 1 day at University per week. We receive study leave for university assignments and our teams are very considerate of our workload and priorities.
I receive a lot of support from my employer. They prioritise my development and align this with my goals for the future.
The support from my training provider is great! They understand the program and really care about our development both at work and university.
I've learnt so much about strategic planning, commercial, HR and marketing during my degree which has allowed me to apply this knowledge in my day to day role.
I am on the committee for our Intern and Apprentice cohort which has given me the opportunity to organise events to bring Early Careers together. We also have fitness classes, networking opportunities and sports teams that people can join!

L'Oréal is a great place to start your career. They invest and care so much about Early Careers and the Apprenticeship program is great! I am surrounded by inspirational individuals and teams that I feel so lucky to work with everyday.
Go for it and be yourself! L'Oréal love embracing who you are and this is a really important aspect to show in your application. Show your potential too! You may not have experience but that's not a problem as L'Oréal focus on discovering potential and unlocking the best version of you
