Doing the weekly routines in the station. working at sse everyday is never the same. one day i will be working on an outage and the next i could be out in the van travelling and seeing new places and sites.
I have learned lots of new skills such as how a hydro system works and how electricity can be generated from natural sources.
I enjoy my programme because i was able to learn whist on the job but I enjoyed being able to make new friends for life.
The programme is well structured and I feel as though once out of college there are few problems. There has been some major issues with college assessors however this is not through the fault of SSE.
I receive support from my colleagues on site everyday and help from management when it is needed.
I had enough support
I think the qualifications gave me a good base understanding of engineering however I dont think I use most of the skills studied on a day to day basis.
there are no extra-curricular activates.
Yes
It is a kind and safe place to work. I find it a good place to work and enjoy the company of others around me.
Be yourself and make sure you do enough research on the company itself.
