I am a team leader at Greene king, I start by day by doing a cash handover and counting my safe, sorting my bookings out for the day and inserting my cash tills. Then I run the shift and team making sure people are in the right places and playing too there strengths
I have learnt so many new skills, having taken my maths again I have grown better at this. Along with with improving at every aspect of my job.
I truly am a believer that everyday is a school day and I find it fantastic that I get the opportunity to learn so much. I am well aware that I could just check all the boxes and push through to get my grade but instead I make sure that I hand write every piece of information out and keep it in my book as I want to really learn this for my career
I love how everything is planned out in advance, I can go at my own pace and even go ahead on my targets. I have meetings with my coach once a month and I can always ask for help
My employer pays for my apprenticeship and I can't thank them enough, they are very helpful when I have questions and always there for me and have lots of knowledge, they also provide a portal for me to improve my training called tap where I can select different model
My training provider is called lifetime and I personally find them to be very accommodating towards my apprenticeship. I can find any useful information that I need on the website and it also provides discounts and things such as cheaper travel and discounts at other places which really helps me.
I feel my training massively helps me in my role
