During this apprenticeship, I have developed some new sales skills that have helped me when having conversations with customers. These skills include; Active listening, Communication, Negotiation and time management.
I enjoy this programme because it has given me new sales skills that i did not have previously and has allowed me to continue learning whist being in a professional environment.
My programme is structured well as it is 9 modules and i have been given the timeline for my apprenticeship that also include a workshop with my training provider every 4-5 weeks to talk though the modules of the course and what comes up in the next module.
I receive a lot of support from my employer especially my manager as i have 1-1 meeting every month with my manager in which we discuss how my apprenticeship is going and if there is anyway she can help me. I am also given 1 day a week to complete my apprenticeship assignments.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider as i have monthly coaching session with my tutor to discuss how i am finding the apprenticeship and if there is anything i am struggling with. i also have quarterly progress reviews with my tutor and line manager.
My training provider provides me with useful information that i have applied to my everyday role. for example during my monthly coaching sessions, my tutor has provided me with useful sales tips that i can use to help build confidence when speaking to customers.
I have attended our company's annual sales conference and i have attended many apprenticeship networking events where i have connected with other apprentices.

Pearson provides a great working environment for new starters and colleagues are quite supportive when you ever need help with anything. Also as an apprentice, there are many events that i believe are beneficial as you are able to connect with other apprentices that work in different fields.
Be proactive, Never stop learning, Be a team player and allow yourself the opportunity to learn from your mistakes and grow.
