I am currently an Account Handler at WTW, my current role consists of: • Managing renewal business and new business enquiries independently on small/medium sized business, this includes having meetings with clients and negotiating with insurers to obtain terms which meets the needs and demands of the clients. This includes: o Preparing documentation o Liaising with clients and insurers to ensure timely receipt of instruction, terms, and documentation, building strong relationships o Promoting and applying ‘best practice’ and consistency in everything I do o Creating and providing endorsements • Providing support to London colleagues on their larger complex policies, assisting them in their discussions with insurers, producing documentation, and carrying out processing to allow them to use their time on other tasks. • I assist colleagues as part of the UK New Business team in our role to obtain new business to help meet business and personal objectives. • Use WTW systems efficiently to ensure compliance with regulations and WTW rules. • Assisting and training new apprentices providing them with the knowledge and experience to carry out tasks independently.

I found it a good programme to follow, with frequent meetings to ensure i was on track

Lots, manager was helpful throughout
Lots, work marked (sometimes this could have been quicker to complete sooner), however had frequent meetings so I was able to ensure I was always on target and what I needed to do
A lot, it has meant my confidence and knowledge has improved which has improved my negotiation in my role and allowed me to be promoted
