My role as a team leader at Superdrug included doing deliveries, till work, cashing up and delegating work to sales advisors. I would do various shifts 5 days a week and make sure that shifts ran smoothly along with other members of management
I have learnt better communication skills and teamwork skills. I have gained a lot of confidence especially with being in a leadership role
I thoroughly enjoy my work and am glad that I started this apprenticeship. It has really helped me progress and develop my skills further
I think it is well structured with all the workshops and workbooks to keep my knowledge up and test me to prepare me for my final assessment
I receive plenty of support from all members of my team at work, especially management
I receive plants of support from my training provider, to keeps up to date with my work and ensures I’m getting all my required hours
It ups my knowledge about retail work and management work, and how to better myself for my role and future roles I may aspire too
Social media is a big part of my work as well and as a store we’re all pretty involved

It’s such a nice working environment and the benefits alone are pretty good, they make sure you have all the support you’ll need through working with them and make sure their staff are looked after
Make sure that you communicate with your whole team at all times, they are there to help you and you will benefit greatly from their experience
