Managing a 9 bed residential for young adults with learning disability & autism Running of the home - Management of resident care packages & management of staff
I have learned a lot. Previous roles were not as full on as this one - now controlling larger budgets & dealing with more staff issues & disciplinary procedures.
Program is great - Plenty of feedback & support with my chosen diploma. My first tutor was really lovely & extremely helpful. Supported me well & was very understanding around the demands of my job role. Just got a second tutor who also seems really nice too.
Very organised during the time of having a tutor
I get a lot of support from my employer & I know if I call I can get further support
During the time of having a tutor support was always there. There was a short time that I didn't have a tutor
I learn so much along the way from both my service, my employer & My training provider.
Lots of networking events - My employer has their own networking & I am also a member of skills for care so get a lot of support from them too.
Yes
Its very organised - well planned & has a lot of experienced staff. Staff have high morals & similar work ethics to myself so it just works. They take care of their staff & there is much respect amongst us.
Just come & work for us - You would love it too. Although a huge organisation, it is well organised & has a lot of staff at different levels to support you in need. The company put a lot in & its heartfelt centre radiates Integrity, care & respect to all.
