During the course of the apprenticeship I take part in 4 placements each of them 6 months long. These placements can differ however order book management, invoicing, supplier relations and customer relations are big parts of my current role.
My interpersonal and presentation skills have been significantly developed since starting the apprenticeship as these are both large parts of what I do on a daily basis. Operating resource management systems has also been a large part and I have developed this skill from having no prior knowledge.
The support network at BAE is excellent and the majority of apprentices feel comfortable speaking up about issues they may be having.
There are plenty of extra curricular opportunities at BAE including air shows, open events and newsletters
Yes
BAE is a great company to work for, there are excellent financial benefits to working here but the opportunities to develop personally and professionally are also significant upsides to working for this company.
Be open minded.
