My role in the business is a Designer and my day to day work life involves going to meetings, updating/ creating drawing sheets, updating/ creating models as well as working on my EPA
I have learnt/ developed a lot of new skills during my apprenticeship such as working and collaborating with others, how to use 3D and 2D CAD software and leading a team through Stretch activities
I enjoy the programme a lot
Mostly the apprenticeship is well structured
The majority of the staff who have looked after me during the course of my apprenticeship have been supportive
I have not needed as much support however whenever i have questions about work or upcoming jobs, everyone on my team is willing to help
I feel that my qualification definitely helps me perform better
I have taken part in a number of STEM events such as SDELF, Road to Engineering, Speed Networking, Open Evenings, etc
Yes
It has allowed me to develop a lot of skills and competencies that I didn't have before starting the apprenticeship such as communicating with others and building work relationships, built my confidence, etc
When doing interviews use the STAR method for answering
