In my job, I am a sales assistant so I help customers and help put the stock out. But because its an apprenticeship I am also learning some management type things, like damages and Zeros.
My confidence has definitely improved and continues to do so. I also think my social skills are better than before I started.
I enjoy the programme because you get to work while being taught the best way to do things. So you learn on the job rather than being thrown into the deep end.
It's very organised. I always know where to find things and can access them easily.
I receive a lot of support from my employer. If I need to talk about something or don't understand something I know I can simply ask and they will talk it through with me or listen to what I need to tell them.
I get loads of support towards my qualification. If I don't understand something then I can always ask and they will explain it for me. Everything is all on the training provider and so If I don't understand something I know I can always find things there to help me improve.
I think it will help me perform better in my role as I have a better understanding of how things are done and why because I was taught it via the qualification as opposed to just getting the job. I have a better understanding of why we push certain things and therefore I will be able to perform better sue to knowing why.
Yes
Because the pay is good for an apprenticeship. Everyone is caring and really friendly and truly want what's best for you. Also they are supportive and help push you and teach you to be able to perform your best.
Don't let lack of experience stop you from applying because they would rather teach you from scratch anyway.
